Charmaine 'L A is a Lagos-based Afro-pop and R&B artist blending soulful storytelling with sharp social commentary. Raised in Lagos and inspired by artists like Aṣa and Norah Jones, her sound balances deep emotion with a grounded Nigerian reality. A Sarz Academy alumnus, she first made waves on the Memories That Last Forever 2 (MTLF 2) project on tracks "233" and "Steady". She ushered in a bold new era with her debut solo EP, All The Girls Are Angry (ATGAA), released on April 23, 2026. A natural performer since the age of seven and a songwriter since eleven, Charmaine has refined her craft through theatre, music technology studies, and live performances.
